How would one determine is an already installed instance of W2K8 enterprise was R2 or not?

Start --> Right click Computer --> Properties You should be able to see if you got R2 not here.

Hi Jim, You can run the WINVER command. Then, you would see the version clearly in the dialog box. This works in every Windows OS. Please refer to: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310104. In addition, OS version would be listed in the logon screen. Regards, Bruce
