Visual Basic 6 in a Win2K3 domain
Hi guys, I got a Windows 2003 domain in my office.I haved added all the PCs in my office to that domain and created a user account for each of theusers under the Domain User member group. When they log on using their account and try use the Add Components option in Visual Basic to add ActiveX Controls to the VB6 toolbox, they get a "Permission denied" error. It seems to be a policy that prevents user from accessing the system folders. Anybody got any idea which security policies i have to change?

This forum is for Windows Server 2008. The error you see is because they belong to Domain Users, and like such has no rights to install software. You could make them Power Users on their local machines which would make it possible for them. This will get you started on group policies: http://technet2.microsoft.com/windowsserver/en/technologies/featured/gp/default.mspx
