Virtual Network Adapter Not Working

Hi

I have added an external virtual switch that points to my WIFI card on the host, I have tried checking/unchecking 'allow managment operating system to share this adapter' and I have added the network adapter in the virtual machine settings.

However no network adapters come up in my VM for some reason.

Networking works in the host OS fine. I am trying to use my hosts wifi configuration for the virtual machine.

I'm unsure what else to try, the guest is Windows XP pro and the host is windows 10

Hi,

I don't think Windows 10 Hyper-V supports Windows XP pro at this moment. In Windows 10 Hyper-V, Integration components delivered through Windows Update. the Integration components of Windows 10 or Windows Server Technical Preview are supported Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows 8 and Windows 7.

For your information:

Hyper-V integration components are available through Windows Update
