Virtual Memory
Hi All, Can anyone clear the concept of virtual memory? Virtual address space and virtual memory is same. When any process going to exceuted it is allocated the virtual address space first then assigned Physical memory. Is i am right ? Thanks Manoj kr. SIngh

no first your machine will consume physical memory.if machine needs more then it will use virtual memory.recommended virtual memory size is 11/2 of the physical memoryDarshana Jayathilake

Hi, Virtual memory is always being used, even when the memory that is required by all running processes does not exceed the volume of RAM that is installed on the system.
