I need to setup a virtual IP in a server running IIS + sharepoint. the server is 2003 sp2. i've added the new virtual ip to the local NIC on the server, it pings ok and ipconfig is showing the settings correctly. What else do i have to do? Does the hosts file need to be altered? Are there other things need to be configured?I've tried to google for a tutorial / how to guide on setting up a virtual IP for an web site, but found nothing useful. Is there a simple guide out on how to set this up correctly?thanks
