Hi, when trying to connect to VPN the dialog connection hangs on the step "verifying username and password". The client machine is running win 7 Pro (6.1.76) and the server is SBS 2008. I can connect from another machine with the same user without problems. I have checked similar posts on this forum but none are helpfull. I have found the solution on another post. (seems that the first time didn't look very well xD) The solution is: "... explicitly setting the Type of VPN property on Security tab to Point to Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP). It seems that when this property is set to Automatic the WAN Miniport defaults to IKEv2 (and gets stuck if this is not the VPN type used)..."
