VPN error 691
I get a vpn and when i try to use it it show error 691 but before show this error
I have a message that said your protocal has problem or your username & password arenot correct but I"m sure both of them is correct
1-I use win7
2-ESET smart security ask me to allow to the connection
please guide me

Hi
When ESET smart security asks you to allow the connection i hope you are clicking yes... and make sure settings on ESET smart security allow vpn connections could be the ESET causing all your problems.. to test disable it and try connecting if it works then
thats your problem if it doesnt then its no the problem.. either way make sure u turn it on soon after your test..... also make sure the authentication method settings on your vpn client are correct and also be 100% sure that the username and password
is correct.. please check these and post here if you have made any progress or not :)

Thanks for posting here.
Have active directory been deployed in your environment ?
Is The account that be used to connect VPN domain account ?
If yes, have you inputted the “ domain “ entry in VPN connection on client side ?
Which VPN server software are using ?
If you are using RRAS , please checking the logs which listed in the link below and post back for further investigation:
