VPN
Hello, Could someone advise me on what they think the best option would be for a VPN between our sites by referring to our diagram attached. Both networks will be on the same domain and that traffic will need to traverse the VPN however general internet traffic will need to go via their own internet connection. I have been told about point to point and site to site VPN's if someone could clarify the most appropriate. Also should we do it via the 2 cisco routers which are outside the network or via the 2 TMG boxes which are inside. Any thoughts would be appreciated Network Diagram Thanks Robbie

Site to site, LAN to LAN and router to router are different names for the same thing. The VPN connection is set up between routers and these routers have static routes to route traffic for the "other" site through the VPN. All other traffic is unaffected. Point to point is a more general term and applies to all VPN connections (and lots of other things as well). Whether you route between the TMG servers or the Ciscos is up to you. The routing is easiest if the VPN routers are the default gateway for the LANs. If they are not, you need extra routing to get the local traffic to the VPN router. Bill
