Pretty much I have searched the web and also tried things I thought would fix this, but I'm stuck trying to install VMM on win7 with all the pre's installed and it just hangs for hours on end. Have screen shots but won't let me add them.
Hi Sir,
If you are using 2012R2 VMM , you can try this solution :
"Had an old version of "vcredist" installed on my machine (version 10.0.30319). Did the upgrade of "vcredist" with the installation files from the VMM 2012 R2 media (\Prerequisites\VCRedist) and after a reboot i managed to install the console."
Best Regards,
Ok, just happened to randomly looking through forums again and found this and actually fixed my problem!
"I had the same problem on a Win8 and Win7 computer. I found out that Logitech SetPoint was the problem. After killing Setpoint in the task manager the setup completed without problems."
So I killed the setpoint from task manager and sure enough finally installed with no problem!
