VMM Live Migration Progress Bar

Hi,

Is it my imagination, or did the progress bar presented during a live migration used to display data sent / data remaining to give you an indication of the overall progress of a given move?

It's frustrating not knowing just how much longer is left for a given move.

Am I on crazy pills, or did this used to exist in earlier versions of VMM?

Nick.

Hi Sir,

During the migration , you may check the VMM job , you will get the detail steps and the progress (move the mouse pointer to the specific step you will get the sidenote) :

During a live emigration, the progress bar that you see is just representative of the steps progress. It's not related to data being moved. So you will not be able to predict if the LM will take 30 seconds or 5 minutes based on the progress bar.
