I have tried to install Update Rollup 7 on the SCVMM server, 3066340 worked, 3078314 & 3078315 did not. I get an error the program being upgraded is missing.

My issue is, VMM works fine on SCVMM server. VMM also works fine on my desktop. VMM does not work on my VEEAM server. VMM loads and just keeps spinning. Domain Credentials the same on both. VMM is not stuck as I can exit by pressing the red X and it closes immediately. I can telnet to 8100 no problem.

This error implies that the update can not find VMM console in VMM server .

3078314 is used to update VMM console . Please try to apply this update to your "desktop" VMM console to check if the issue persists .

In addition , 3078315 is used to update VMM guest agent for VMs :
