Here's my situation. I have system DSN's set up on Server1 to connect to MySQL databases, into which data from dump files is loaded. My Visual Studio 2012 Solution is in a ClearCase VOB on Server2. When I try to use Connection Manager to access the DSN's on Server1, all I see are system DSN's set up on my local host. I tried to create a server connection to Server1 using Server Explorer  in VS to see if this would allow me to see the system DSN's on Server1, but it didn't work. My only experience with connecting to system DSN's was when Visual Studio and the DSN's were set up on the same server. Any ideas or links that show how to use system DSN's between server's? I haven't had much success with my serches.
