I have recently acquired a MacBook and have been trying to use Microsoft Remote Desktop software to open a cloud based server called Universal anywhere. 

It has been working fine but now keeps crashing at various points, like when I type in the server name, it opens up using MRD, I enter my username and password and it comes up saying 'Microsoft Remote Desktop closed unexpectedly'. It will sometimes let me go a bit further and get into the actual cloud based system I am trying to use, but always crashes eventually at some point after I have input software.

I cannot confirm if it is supported for Remote Desktop Client to remote to the third party cloud server. Also RDC is keeping updating since released, you can also check if a newer version is available and if it will get this back to work.

In the meantime you can also test to use a Windows system to Remote to that server incase the issue occurs on server side.
