RDS 2012 publishing office to users desktop. Our users are not using thin clients. They have their own desktop PC with their own local profile. What is everyone else doing for when users file->open in an office app and the user is seeing their profile on the server? It is very confusing to my users when they see their profile on the server and not their local profile. Getting users to browse to "C on their pc name->users->username->documents" is very difficult. Is their a way for users to see their local profile instead of their profile on the server when they file->open?

I assume that these users are within Remote Desktop sessions, and the Remote Desktop user profiles display when they click on Open.

You may try to specify the Remote Desktop Services Profile Path as the local profile path, in which way, both local and remote desktop profiles would be stored in the same place.
