In simple words I would say Windows security requires a user profile for each user account on a computer. The system automatically creates a local user profile for each user when the user logs on to the computer for the first time. The system automatically maintains the settings for each user's work environment in a user profile on the local computer. Roaming profile is a user profile that is stored on a server, and it is downloaded to the computer whenever a user logs in. This way, the user can access their information and settings no matter what computer they log into. If that users system windows is failed or hard disk failed . how can i take user profiles desktop files and my-documents files also user settings. Pls tell me boss Regards Subash

Hello, Thank you for your post. Based on my research, A local user profile is created the first time that a user logs on to a computer. The profile is stored on the computer's local hard disk. Changes made to the local user profile are specific to the user and to the computer on which the changes are made. A roaming user profile is a copy of the local profile that is copied to, and stored on, a server share. This profile is downloaded to any computer that a user logs onto on a network. Changes made to a roaming user profile are synchronized with the server copy of the profile when the user logs off. The advantage of roaming user profiles is that users do not need to create a profile on each computer they use on a network. Boss Pc is working fine like booting very fast . after implementation roaming profile it's getting very slow . like log off or shutdown.
