Thanks Mr.Dave , I have tried this option i got some error in the log-on time like "Windows cannot update your roaming profile. Possible causes of this error include network problems or insufficient security rights. If this problem persists, contact your network administrator." Deleted local profile but still got the same error message. Also deleted server profile but still getting the same message. Pls help me boss

The message means just what it says. Check the permissions on the on the profiles file. They must allow the user to write to the file to update the profile.Bill

Hi, Possible reasons why Windows cannot update you roaming profile include: a network connectivity problem, a file copy error (Userenv Event ID 1509), an application fails to release file handles on the roaming user profile files on the server, or incorrect permissions on the user's profile folders. I suggest you first check Event Viewer logs on the client. 1. Review the Event Viewer logs and look for related profile (Userenv) events to obtain additional details about this error. 2. In Event Viewer, click System, and look for any networking-related messages, such as Netlogon messages, that indicate a network connectivity issue. 3. Ensure that the correct permissions are set on the user's roaming profile folders that are stored on the server. For more information, please refer to: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/support/ee/transform.aspx?ProdName=Windows+Operating+System&ProdVer=5.2&EvtID=1504&EvtSrc=Userenv&LCID=1033 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/973835 It can also be caused by antivirus software, please refer to this thread: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/winservergen/thread/c3049278-98de-4490-81b0-069cb9b511ea Hope this helps.
