User cant access Remote Desktop Services / Terminal Services - Server 2008 R2
Hi,
I am using a server 2008 R2 Standard installation. Its roles are DC, Active Dir, DNS, DHCP. I am looking to add TS/Remote desktop to the setup. I added the remote desktop services as a role. Everything works for the admin account.
I added folder redirection group to the "select user groups allowed to access ...." '
I added folder redirection group to the RD Cap, RD RAp groups, I did defaults for the rest.
My admin account can log in remotely to use it, my test01 account cant seem to access the server using RD/TS. I am able to go to the web launching platform (though I fail to see how thats easier in my 1 server situation).
How do I make it so that a non admin user can log into the server via RD?
Thanks,
Rich

Hello,
keep in mkind that using RD on a DC is not recommended, the security on a DC must be lowered which is not recommended. Better use a Member server instead a DC.Best regards Meinolf Weber Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights.
