User Accounts
Hi, I have multiple servers running and old Active Directory structure. I want to clean the AD from unused user accounts and service accounts. Is there a way how to find out which user and service accounts are being in use for the servers and services. Is there a tool or something? Much appreciated! Thanks!

Here is a nice tool from joe, used to find and cleanup old computer accounts that haven't been used. Can also be used to clean up user accounts when the proper filter is specified. http://www.joeware.net/freetools/tools/oldcmp/ http://codeidol.com/active-directory/active-directory/Users/Finding-Users-Who-Have-Not-Logged-On-Recently/ Regards, Rafic If you found this post helpful, please give it a "Helpful" vote. Check these similar threads below. 1. Good tool to remove old accounts out of AD? 2. How to find out where an account is being used? For AD queries, post here. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/winserverDS/threads/ Thanks

Hi, I agree with others, they have provided the right suggestion to the issue. In addition, we could also use the script locate and disable inactive user accounts. For details, please refer to the following article.
