Upon upgrading from Windows 2008 RC2 to Windows 2008 RC2 SP1 default documents do not work. Site is running .net 4.0 in classic mode

Upon upgrading from Windows 2008 RC2 to Windows 2008 RC2 SP1 default documents do not work. Site is running .net 4.0 in classic mode. KB 980368 says it is not applicable to your computer. I can uninstall SP1 and the default document redirect works with no other changes.
