i have an HP ML150 server running on Windows 2008 Standard Edition 64 bit and i would like to upgrade to Windows 2008 R2 64 bit. The upgrade is failing because the server says it needs LSI Logic 8951U, 8952U PCI SCSI Adapter; 53C895 Device drivers. i am having problems in getting them and i dont know what to do. i tried to search and mostly i have been referred to the site http://www.windowsservercatalog.com/ but nothing is materialising. kindly assist.

Hi, You could provide the driver during Setup, on the disk selection page, click Load Driver (or press F6). You can browse to locate the driver or have Setup search the media that downloaded form OEM website. Thanks. thank you very much for the response but when i posted the question i had tried all what u have suggested with no joy. Windows 2008 server has the drivers for the controller but Windows 2008 Standard R2 64 bit has no such drivers that is where my problem is. I am failing to find the drivers even on the HP website. HP Proliant ML150 G6 server Easy Set-up CD has no such drivers for Win 2008 standard R2 64 bit server. the latest HP SmartStart CD do not support ML150.
