Upgrade from Server 2003 Standard to R2
Hello, I have 4 servers running Server 2003 Standard with SP2. I would like to upgrade them to R2 to utilise some of the features. I am licensed for R2, why we never did it straight from the get go I don't know. I have noticed though, the Server 2003 Product Key is different from the R2 product key. Can I Upgrade usign a different key? Thanks in advance Stephen

Since you have SP2 I think you'll need to create an integrated SP2 install point and I think you will need to have the SP2 version of R2 disk. If the R2 disk doesn't say SP2 then it is SP1 version.http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc756124(WS.10).aspxhttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc773172(WS.10).aspxRegards, Dave Patrick ....
