In update Operations Manager 2012 R2 Update Rollup 2 there is a msp file called Operations Manager Agent (KB2929891). There isn't any information about this on the page "Description of Update Rollup 2 for System Center 2012 R2 Operations Manager" http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2929891

When and where should this update be applied? Can someone please share some light on this issue.

You can use the agent update if you want to update the Agents before you update your infrastructure.
If you update your infrastructure first then you can approve the client update using the pending Management option.

Hi!

I understand the principal. However there is NO information about agent upgrade in the documentation. For the Update Rollup 1 you had to reject the pending updates for the agent since there were no updates for the agent.

This Update Rollup 2 is used to fix 9 issue as show in Microsoft Link.

For update agent, you can upgrade it from console. and it's mentioned on Description link as show

We recommend that you install this update rollup package by following these steps in the given order:

1. Install the update rollup package on the following server infrastructure:
   • Management server or servers
   • Gateway servers
   • Web console server role computers
   • Operations console role computers
2. Apply SQL scripts (see installation information).
3. Manually import the management packs.
4. Apply the agent update to manually installed agents, or push the installation from the Pending view in the Operations console.

I just feel the documentation somewhat lacking.
