Unanswered Moving Windows Server 2003 SP2 32Bit to Windows Server 2008 R2 64Bit
Hi, We have a gameserver that use two ports type, 1 TCP and 1~500 UDP ports. The UDP ports varies from how much game rooms have been opened in the game. On Windows Server 2003, everything is working fine. But when we installed Windows 2008 Enterprise R2 x64, the network latency is very very slow. With only 5 players connected to the room we experience HUGE DELAYS. I have checked with a packet capture tools and noticed that the packets were sent after 500ms+ while my gameserver shows in logs that theres no delay in the logic code. We also tested the gameserver on 3 other server while 1 of them is running Win2008 R2 x64 and works perfect. At first we thought its the server hardware having a problem so we reinstalled Win2003 for making sure and it works. Only with Win2008 im having this problem. We have also installed a new NIC card but no success. Whats wrong with Win2008? Any help would be greatly appreciated. PS: Both windows are original license, no pirated whatsover. Than you.
