I have successfully installed SCOM 2007 R2 and i have been working with it from last 2 weeks when i try to open SCOM console today am unable to open the SCOM console and it is showing the sdk service is either not running or not yet initialized.
How to start sdk service and how to check whether it is started or not
Any one please help me to resolve this issue.
Am a new learner please help me

Make sure the follwoing service is up and running
--  Management Server
1. system Center Data Access Service
2. System Center Management Configuration service

DB Server
1. SQL Server service
2. SQL Agent service

Hi,

On the OpsMgr server - press Start, Administrative Tools, Service - Find the service and start the service

If the service is started please press "Show" additional information about the error and tell us the error message

While trying to start system Center Data Access Service it is showing windows could not start the system center data access service on local computer
Error 1069: The service did not start due to a logon failure
please help to resolve this issue

Hi Mahesh,

Both SDK service and System Center Data Access service are same. So, you are trying to start the correct service (System Center Data Access) but you are getting an error. Please check "Operations Manger" Event Logs in Event viewer. 

Goto Start-> Run-> type eventvwr --> Expand "Applications and Services"--> "Operations Manger" log to check if you have any error events related to SDK service.

Paste the errors here what you find in Operations Manger log.

Until you start SDK service, you cannot open SCOM console. Did you reboot the server recently? Any changes were made recently on server? Just checking if this issue is after any reboot.
