Unable to install SP2 for windows 2008 because it requires sp1 which is already installed
I have a windows 2008 server that has sp1 installed straight from media. I am running exchange server on that system. When i try to install sp2 on that server it tells me it needs sp1. I have tried looking but i cannot find a solution to this simple problem. windows 2008 sp1 64 bit 20 gb ram dual xeons

Hi, I suggest you run the System Update Readiness Tool to check your computer and try to resolve certain conditions that could interfere with the installation of updates or other software. You may revert back with the CheckSUR.log and we can analyze it for you.
