Hey all, I'm running WSUS Version: 3.2.7600.226 and it's working great. Now I want to use it to push out some third-party updates (Adobe, Java, etc.) but the first step in that process was get SP2 installed. When I try to install SP2 I get a "This program has compatibility issues" error message. Clicking on the "Get help online" button gives me a "No solutions found" message. Are any of you using WSUS for those third-party updates or are you using a different program?

First check your WSUS Build:
http://www.wsus.de/images/wsus-version.png If it is lower the .274
install the Updates to coming up to Build .274:

WSUS 3.0 (SP2) + KB2720211:     Build 3.2.7600.251
WSUS 3.0 (SP2) + KB2734608:     Build 3.2.7600.256
WSUS 3.0 (SP2) + KB2828185:     Build 3.2.7600.262
WSUS 3.0 (SP2) + KB2938066:     Build 3.2.7600.274

If you have installed the WSUS-Console on Client W7 and lower, then
install the above updates on this clients too.

Which SP2 you want to install? WSUS 3.0 SP2? Do you want to use WSUS
Package Publisher or Local Update Publisher? Note, LUP is running only
on W2008R2 and lower, not on W2012. WPP is under permanently
devolpment.

Hi Winfried, and thanks for the note about LPP and WPP. I was operating under the assumption that LUP was the Package Publisher I needed for W2012. I'll do the updates for .274 and make the adjustment for the "other" PP.
