Hello,

I'm able to import virtual machines that were created using Hyper-V Server 2012 R2 (Ver 5.0) to Hyper-V Server 2016 TP3 but I'm unable to import virtual machines that were created using Hyper-V Server 2016 TP2 (Ver 6.2).

Hyper-V Manager console doesn't detect a virtual machine to import when I select the folder containing the Virtual Machines directory which contains the VMCX and VMRS files.

Also, the Import-VM commandlet gives the following error message when providing the path to the VMCX file:

import-vm : Failed to import a virtual machine.
 An unexpected error occurred: Catastrophic failure (0x8000FFFF).
 Failed to import a virtual machine.

Have someone seen this or can help me solve this problem?
