I have a weird issue with server 2008r2 stnd which is the ADDS/DHCP/DNS server. Lets say our internal domain is domain.local and we have users who are trying to access a website which is hosted by godaddy "www.print.com". If they just put print.com it works but if you put www.print.com it never resolves. If the user disconnects from office network and uses another network than it resolves either way but internal.

your advise is very appreciated.

Can you access other public wesites with "www"? Can you perform external name resolution in your domain?

I recommend you to post the results of running "ipconfig/all" on the DC and client. In addition, please run the commands below to check if any difference existed:

nslookup

set d2

www.print.com or print.com
