USB 3.0 SUPPORT FOR SERVER 2008
When can we expect native USB 3.0 support for Windows Server 2008? Having that speed backup available using Windows Server Backup and WBAdmin would be exceedingly helpful.

Hello, The following forum should be able to provide more information on this. The Windows Backup as such does not own this component. 1. You don't need to do anything I guess.. I bought an "I/O Flex" SuperSpeed USB 3.0 card about $40, a USB 3.0 external HD, installed them both, loaded the drivers supplied for Server 2008 and it works fine, ~90MB/sec transfer rate for files; ~200MB/sec transfer rate for Windows Server Backup. Not sure why the difference in throughput from file copy to backup sw, but it's a huge improvement from USB 2.0 30MB/sec backup speed.

Could you tell me where I can buy a USB 3.0 PCI-E card that supports Windows (Web) Server 2008 R2? I've looked everywhere and they all support XP/Vista/7 but no mention of any Server OS... but if it supports 7 should I assume it supports 2008?
