Trying to merge unallocated disk space to virtual disk

Hi All,

Running a Scale out File server on Server 2012 R2.

I am covering for a co-worker and one of the virtual disks have run out of space.  So I extended the virtual drive to a desired size but now I cant merge the two.  In the volumes -> disks window it shows the capacity of the virtual disk as correct but also shows the new amount (the amount that I just added) in the unallocated column.  So how do I get the unallocated to merge??

Hope this makes sense.

Thanks.

Hi,

You could try to extend the volume on the virtual disk in Disk Manager. For more detailed information, please see:
