Trust between two domain SID problem
One domain is server 2003 other domain is server 2008. Trust is ok, but when i share folder from server 2003 and give permission to user from server 2008 domain,i can add them but i can see only SID. Why USER name is translate to SID?

Hello, it seems that you have a DNS problem. Please use conditional forwarding to forward DNS traffic of othe domain to the correct DNS server. Use nslookup to check that all is okay with DNS resolution. Also, that needed ports for trusts are not blocked: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/179442 Use PortQry v2 for check. logon to the windows server 2003 server and check for the service TCP/IP NetBios Helper Service.
