Hello Guys,

We faced this issue after applying UR5 and all jobs stopped after applying KB3045893 patch on the DW Server all jobs started to work again "BUT" the TransformDisplayStringDim keep failing

Error log : Timeout expired. the timeout prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding

Q1 # After applying the UR5 Patch, is it mandatory to change the registry value

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\System Center\2010\Common\DAL

and add the SqlCommandTimeout, and type 1?  and do i apply this on both servers MS & DW or only one server?

Q2 # Applying KB3045893 on both servers or only the DW Server ?

everything was working fine till i installed both patches

It turns out you should apply the "SqlCommandTimeout" value only on the MS Server "appreciate mention this in the installation instructions", after deleting this registry value from the DW Server .. issue resolved and all jobs running normally now. Thanks anyway
