Hi, I have a Windows Server 2008 with Active Directory users and a Shared Partition. Someone moved an important folder into another folder. Is it possible in any way to know who did this? I mean, which user did this modification to the folder? Thank you very much in advance, Mário Dourado

If you did not configure auditting before, it will be impossible to figure out who did it. You can configure auditting for several file actions, but unless you have a good reason to do so, I would not recommend to enable these features. They put a significant load on the server and gather a lot of data. And by a lot, I mean a lot. That means that in case you need a username for a specific action, it can be a tough job to find what you need.MCSA/MCTS/MCP
