Timeouts accessing S3 Database in Ireland - network issues?

Hi guys,

yesterday we noticed some kind of slowness on our website when accessing pages that need our database in the background. Today we are experiencing occasional timeouts on our website (Azure Web App). No deadlocks or unsuccessful connections in the database monitoring tool. It looks somehow like a network issue?!?

Help is urgently needed.

Mark I'd be happy to help.  I need a little more information first.  Can you please let me know what you're seeing in portal.azure.com in terms of DTU/CPU/IO consumption?  Alternatively you can directly create an incident directly from the portal.

thanks for offering your help.

Actually I am pretty sure that it's not the underlying database that causes this issue. It looks like a problem with our server hosting our web apps. I tried to delete this thread but couldn't find an option to do so. Case can be closed in this section. Unfortunately no one is responding in the web app forum while the error still occurs from time to time.
