We have an Azure Web Site application that enables users to upload large files to Azure blob storage. Users log in using Azure AD (their Office 365 credentials). Very large files can take a long time to upload, and in this case the upload fails after one hour. Another application which uses an internal database for user authentication (NOT Azure AD) works fine.

Troubleshooting this it appears that after about an hour there is a security exception uploading chunks of data to Azure blob storage. If you then navigate to another page on the site, the Azure AD login page flashes up though you don't have to re-enter credentials. Clearly there is some sort of timeout here; where is it set and can it be increased?
