I'm getting the identical error in the Event Logs for my machine - but I don't use RAID, an array controller or exchange. I also have run chkdsk /f each time, and it has reported no error found. The taskbar Action Center icon continues to report "No current issues detected". The only changes I've made recently are to disable Windows Media Center and Media Player Networking, which was soaking up resources for Media stuff that I don't use. I can't see how that would be involved with file structures but who can tell... I keep running chkdsk /f and getting no errors found. I don't know whether to ignore it all, or worry.

I'm getting the same error repeated several times a day on a ML 350G5 as well. Basic E200i RAID controller. 3 drives in RAID5. The server reboots itself every 2 months. I can't figure out what the cause is. Did you ever solve your problem Elias?

Hi... ISSUE : " EVENT VIEWER CRASHING ALWAYS , NTFS errors in event logs " I also have a similar issue. On windows server 2003. When i open event viewr and scroll down both system and application logs, i get a error "event log is corrupted ". And i could see lot of ntfs erriors with event id 55. I have ran chkdsk with /f option. It showed that it found some errors and suucesfully removed them.. but again when i started the server its the same . Problem is not fixed. Earlier in february we had only eventvwr problem , fixed by stopping eventvwr service, renaming and then resarting the server. Steps followed : Step 1: Disable the Event Log Service a. Right-Click My Computer and chose Manage b. Expand and locate 'Services and Applications' c. On the right hand side Double-Click on the 'Event Log' d. Change the 'Startup Type' to Disabled e. Reboot computer. But again we are facing the same problem. Please suggest ...solution
