The companyweb site
Greetings and Salutations,I am trying to access Small Business 2003 R2 "companyweb" from a "XP Home" computer on my network. SBS 2003 is on another box on the network.I can get the "default web site's default.htm" but when I click on the companyweb link, I get not found error.I can log in to the server as a user from "Entire Network: but the XP Home box has not been "connected" to the LAN.Also if I try to access with http://companyweb/ in IE address bar from the XP Home box, I get error. In other words, I just can't access companyweb from the XP Home box. From the Server 2003 computer, I can access it by using http://companyweb in IE address bar, no problem, works great on the server box.Is there a configuration or modification I need to make to get to companyweb from the XP Home box? Thanks in advance.

OK. Sorry about posting in the wrong forum.Anyway, I got it working.1. Used XP Pro instead of XP Home.2. On the client, I changed the preferred DNS to the IP of the server box.
