Terminal Server in SBS 2008 environment
Hi all,I have a SBS 2008 server (standard edition), and have Remote Web Workplace setup for remote access and email.I would like to put in a Terminal Server on this network rather than using client PCs for remote access. I have a spare Server 2008 Ent license, so could I use this in my SBS network for Terminal Services or do I need to use SBS 2008 Premium?Either way I appreciate I need to add TS CALs.Thanks,Rich

Hi Rich,Yes, you can use a spare Windows Server 2008 Enterprise License in your SBS2008 for Terminal Service.However, please understand that Windows Server 2008 enterprise license Terminal Services CALs are required for each user or device that accesses or uses the server software. Terminal Services CALs are not included with the Windows SBS 2008 server license or the Windows SBS 2008 CALs.
