Hi, Did you run Windows 2008 (AD,WSUS roles + mssql 2005) on the Hyper-V host machine or within a VM? If your run it on Hyper-V host, I will let you know that it’s not the best practice for Hyper-V deployment. It is recommend that keep only the Hyper-V role on the host computer, and then you can deploy other application within one or more VMs. If you run it within a VM on Hyper-V, it’s OK, however, as far as I know, it’s not recommend that to keep SQL server with AD. Hyper-V server just a Hyper-V service. AD+WSUS+MSSQL(WSUS BD only) at guest OS. 10x for answer!
