Task Scheduler Security Issue
Hi,
I have a problem with Windows Server 2003 servers which are member of 2003 Active Directory Domain. I can not create new task or modify existing task on Windows Server 2003 Servers. I'm receiving following error messages. 2 Days ago there is no problem about
this issue.

Task Scheduler Error (New Task)

The new task could not be created.
The specific error is:
0x80070005: Access is denied.
Try using the Task page Browse button to locate the application.
---------------------------
Task Scheduler Error (Modify Existing Task)
---------------------------
General page initialization failed.
The specific error is:
0x80070005: Access is denied.
An error has occurred attempting to retrieve task account information. You may continue editing the task object, but will be unable to change task account information.

My issue is quite similar .
I have a standalone server (not a DC) when i try to setup a task in task scheduler for the Administrator account i am getting the 0x80070005 error ...
Any solutions yet ?

i am getting this error when trying to setup a task from the administrator account !
i created a new user and added him to the administrators group and it worked ...
however i need to setup the task as administrator ...
