TS CAL question
I don't know where to ask, so I put it here. Please feel free to move it to the right place. Existing situation: I have an TS Windows 2003 environment. I have 500 TS CAL Windows 2003. I want to switch gradually from Windows 2003 to Windows 2008. Do I have to replace all the TS CAL 2003 to TS CAL 2008 in the end ? As far as I know there is no upgrade, so the last option is to rebuy them again. Is it true ? During the migration from Windows 2003 TS servers to Windows 2008 TS servers; lets say that a client (computer/user) connects to a TS Windows 2003, it will get a TS CAL 2003 from the pool. If the same client connects to a Windows 2008 TS server, it will use the same TS CAL 2003 or it will get a new TS CAL 2008 ? Thank you for your help.
