I am unable tp send SCOM Alerts notifications through Office 365 SMTP configured in SCOM as smtp.office365.com over port 587.. i am able to telnet smtp.office365.com over port 587 is reachable. also logged a case with Office 365 , as per O365 Engineer we need to check from Application end that

1.  IS SCOM  supports TLS Authentication during notification through SMTP?

2. IS port 587 is open from SCOM Application End ? from machine End i am able to telnet over port 587 and 25 both ..

Is there any error in OM event log

Based on my research, the IM Notification channel support TLS and the working port is 5061.

I have to setup SMTP notification .. can you please suggest IS SCOM supports TLS Authentication during SMTP Notification from Office 365`s SMTP Configuration directly.
