Hi Team,

We have created a Active Directory on Windows server 2012 DC(Root first DC in the forest) and ADC Windows Server 2008 R2 EE SP1 with Chinese OS and a long domain name .

We have created a long domain name like:

.COM

The respective files are getting created in the sysvol domain folders.

However,the files are not getting replicated .

We have tried with the force replication, restarted the services and checked the event logs.

Any pointer regarding this would really help us.

Thanks for your post.

According to the description, you have created the domain name: .COM. The failure replication may be caused by resolution failure of  the DNS. It may be a guessing.

If you create a new domain or forest and you specify a DNS domain name that includes internationalized characters that are not normalized, then the Active Directory Domain Services Configuration Wizard displays a warning that DNS queries for the name can fail. You could refer to the article for more details.

Is there any other error besides the replication failure?

Could you please also check what's the specific error message in the event log and post it.

DFS Replication service is recommended to copy the folder , SYSVOL share and DFS link target domain controller.

I would suggest can you upload the DCDIAG log file to onedrive and shared the link.

                 What do u mean by data is not getting replicated ? from the results which u shared, it seems like AD replication is working properly. R u referring to the group policy replication ? if yes please share a screenshot of the file replication event page to check the error in group policy replication.

Yes by saying replication is not working I meant that the SYSVOL data (files , group policies and scripts) are not getting replicated.
