System center operation manager Linux Monitoring

Hi Experts,

we are facing problem in SCOM to monitor Linux cent OS monitoring ,when  i am discover the Linux system , it showing unreachable. I have done the FQDN entry .please help to resolved this problem.

Are you able to ping the Linux server from the management server and vice versa using fqdn?

Have you imported the necessary management packs?

yes i am able to ping ,and i have import the required management packs.

TCP 22 and 1270 have to be open from the Linux host. Check with telnet if these ports are open from the management server you are trying to add them to.
