Syntax for Group Policy Registry setting for deleting DWord
I am working on Hardening and have a few Registry Keys that need to be deleted. It is easy to set values using the Computer Configuration|Windows Settings|Security Settings|Registry section of Group Policy on a Windows 2003 domain but I do not see a way to delete a key. any suggestions? Thanks, Cindy

you need to delete them using startup script (cmd/vbs/powershell). But if you have Windows Server 2008 domain member or Windows Vista with RSAT installed, you may use Group Policy Preferences to delete this key.Open policy in edit mode and open section: Computer Configuration -> Preferences -> Windows Settings -> Registry. Creat new Registry Item or Item Collection and specify registry path. In Action drop-down list select Delete. Set other necessary options and link this policy to your computers.
