Syn attack protection behavior
In windows 2003 the Syn Attack protection can be disabled by setting registry, but I read that it cannot be done in windows 2008 and up, so how we can we stop it so it will not cause connectivity issues between our apps and db server?

Hi petarch,

Thanks for update.

As you can see, we cannot disable this feature on windows server 2008 host , and this is by design .

Which version you attempt to install? You might like check if it is compatible with widow server 2008 operation system first.

Have you also tried acquire solution for this installation issue from Biztalk forum ?

Hi, I have a custom remote desktop gateway program that I use at my work place. Is there a way to allow a program bypass the syn protection? Or a way to make sure my program doesn't trigger it? I think it is not responding to incoming syn because my incoming connection gets stuck at syn_received. Thanks.
