Suppress echoing command
Is there a way to suppress displaying the executing command in a win-script file?

when you execute a script, every command is echoed in the cmd-window. I would like to suppress echoing the executing commad and only see the result.

What does "suppress displaying the executing command" mean? What is a "win-script" file?

a command script file "*.cmd" running in a cmd-window (type cmd in Start-menu)
