Server - IBM x3850 x5 7145 AC1 HBAs - QLogic QLE2460 OS - W2008 Ent 64 Storage - DS3400 / EXP3000 When the fiber is plugged into the HBAs the server will not boot up. It tries to go to SAN and fails since the SAN has no boot files/config. I have tried just about everything I can find and it still times out trying to boot to SAN.

Do you have an OS installed on DAS? If so, then you may be able to put in a DVD, bot, select "Repair Your Computer", open a command prompt and work with bcdedit.
