Here is the error that occurred, # for hex 0x8e / decimal 142 : KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED bugcodes.h Are there any files in C:\Windows\Minidump? If so, you can upload them to skydrive ( http://cid-8f63f3f375a57b50.office.live.com/self.aspx/.Public/PublicFile.txt ) and someone can give them a once-over with the Debugging Tools for Windows. If you want to do it yourself, you can install the tools and configure debugging symbols, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315263 and then use WinDbg to open the dump file (either from \Windows\Memory.dmp, default for a kernel memory dump or \Windows\Minidump, default for a small memory dump depending on how you are configured, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/254649 ). -- Mike Burr
