Step-by-Step Example Deployment of the PKI Certificates Required for Configuration Manager Native Mode: Windows Server 2008 Certification Authority
Hi! We are installing SCCM 2007 R2 on a Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise. Since we want it to be in native mode, it is required to install the PKI certificates server, like describe in the following technet document: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc872789.aspx The problem is, even if we are using an Enterprise edition of Windows Server R2, we are choosing Server 2003 Enterprise certificate type, the publish in AD is selected, never it is displayed as a choice in the certsrv console... what could be wrong now??? We repeat everything at least 3 or 4 times now... same result!!! Please help, we want to continu with the SCCM setup, and we are blocked at this step, which is really annoying and time consuming!!! Thanks, Claude Lachapelle, Altek Services Informatiques
